l have just been prescribed amoxicillin for a sinus infection that l am trying to get rid of. However, my girlfiend is worried that she may suffer from this due to the fact that she is extremely allergic to the drug. Is there any possibility that my injestion of this antibiotic will effect her in any way?
YEah, if you take it then open mouth kiss her, or drink or eat after her with the residue in her mouth.I have nut allergies and my boyfriendgave me a rash from kissing my cheek
It is possible. One of the modes of elimination for this drug is sweating/skin secretion. Most of it is eliminated through the urine & liver though.
Think of it as. it is possible because other people opening peanut bags at the front of an airplane can cause someone to have an allergic reaction at the back of the plane. It depends on how critically sensitive she is to very very low doses.
I think that if u shower & change ur clothes prior to seeing her, u wo not have any problems. Do not let her sleep on ur sheets while you're taking it.
